Additionally, Luana is an NFL Players Association (NFLPA) Registered Player Financial Advisor and an Ed Slott Master Elite IRA Advisor.
Luana’s client mix is eclectic: business owners, athletes, retirees, families, and women on their own. She has figured out, though, that no matter who the client is – there is a natural gravitation to support the unique needs of women. Generally, husbands instinctively want to make sure their wives and children are financially ok when they are no longer around to support them. Luana’s goal continues to be that a husband and wife be equally equipped to deal with the financial issues that survive divorce, death, or incapacity of either spouse. Historically, though, she thinks women have a steeper climb to achieve the same comfort level as men, but she is on a mission to see that trend reversed. Luana enjoys helping her clients achieve clarity about their values and their goals and helping them develop a plan for themselves and their families so that they can live life confidently, in alignment with their values, and without regret.
When Luana experienced divorce in 1997 to 2000, her journey gave rise to the founding of Crossroads Consulting of South Florida, Inc. She wanted to help people prepare for life after divorce. She is privileged to work in team with a select group of mental health professionals and attorneys who help people divorce without litigation, using Collaborative Practice and Mediation. Luana gladly supports the Women’s Institute for Financial Education (WIFE.org) by offering the Second Saturday® divorce workshop, “What Everyone Needs to Know about Divorce”.
